Bleed Rings Drip Rings & Vent Rings
A bleed ring fits between two flanges and adds a tapped port to the joint, so you can drain, vent, sample, or connect a valve or instrument without modifying the pipe. Made in-house to your flange rating, size, and port spec, 1/2" to 24" standard with larger sizes on request. See dimensions ›

What Is a Bleed Ring?
A bleed ring is a thick, flange-sized ring with one or more tapped ports drilled through its edge. It installs between two flanges with a gasket on each side and gives you a permanent access point at that joint, with no cutting or welding on the pipe.

Color-Coded by Class
Every ring is stamped with its specs and color-coded by flange rating so crews can confirm the class at a glance.
RTJ and 2500# dimensions are in the Bleed Ring Line Sheet (PDF). Larger sizes and custom configurations available on request.
Custom Bleed Rings
We make every bleed ring in-house, so anything can be changed: thickness, port size and count, material, flange rating, or a combined bleed ring and blind flange assembly. Our lathes turn rings up to 80" O.D., and we can engineer solutions for even larger diameters.
Why USA Industries Bleed Rings
We are the actual manufacturer, not a reseller, with same-day local shipping and delivery in Texas and Louisiana and 24/7/365 emergency service from S. Houston TX, Corpus Christi TX, Prairieville LA, and Broken Arrow OK.
Bleed Ring FAQ
How thick are your bleed rings?
Typically 1-1/2" thick, and other thicknesses are available on request. Your studs need to be long enough for the bleed ring, both gaskets, and the flanges.
Can you put more than one port in a bleed ring?
Yes. Multiple NPT or socket weld ports can be added on request.
I need a larger NPT. Is that possible?
Yes. We can add a larger tap, but the ring may need to be thicker to accommodate it.
Are these available with socket weld taps?
Yes. We regularly supply bleed rings, drip rings, and vent rings with socket weld taps.
What flange ratings are available?
Flat and raised face bleed rings are standard from 150# to 1500#. RTJ bleed rings are available to 2500#. Other ratings can be custom manufactured.
What materials do your bleed rings come in?
Mostly 304 and 316 stainless steel, plus A516 Gr.70 carbon steel. We can make them in any material you need.
Can you make them larger than 24"?
Yes. Our lathes turn rings up to 80" O.D., and we can engineer solutions for even larger diameters.
Do you rent bleed rings?
No. Bleed rings are available for purchase only.
